The German brand company BMW Motorrad has launched it’s 2020 new generation of S 1000 XR BS6-complicated touring bike in the Indian market priced at INR 20.90 lakh. Actually BMW launched the pro model with top-notch specifications and compared to the outgoing model the price INR 2.5 lakh was hiked.
Also, bookings are accepting for this bike by near dealerships and available in two color schemes Ice Grey, Racing Red. BMW revealed this liter-class touring bike to compete against for the upcoming Ducati Multistrada V4. No major changes in design language are noticed in 2020 S 1000 XR looks bulky as the same preceding version.
BMW included only a few modern electronic features, long compression ratios and mostly reduced the vibrations at high speed. In this BMW S 1000 XR, the braking efficiency and different traction are working well in off-road as well as for on-road. Not looking aggressively from the front view with a big LED headlight and adjustable widescreen.
The displacement of the bike is 999cc, inline four-cylinder engine that can capable of churns out maximum output power of 166 HP at 11,500 rpm and 114 Nm of peak torque at 9,250 rpm. BMW equipped a 6.5 inch TFT colorful fully digital instrument console that displays every option required for a rider.
Possibly hit speedometer in 0-100 km/h in a span of 3.3 seconds and claimed 200 km/h top speed. The engine is mated with a six-speed transmission gearbox along with six-axis IMU. And we expect to see BS6Â G 310 R and G 310 GS in August first week.
