Honda has officially finally unveiled the popular adventure model CB400X with new livery in Japan. This 2020 CB400X looks more stylish with new color when compared to its outgoing model. Honda offered two color schemes Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Glare. The seating posture on this adventure bike is really good and perfect for the rider.
Honda used the same engine specifications for the new generation of CB400X. This Adventure CB400X looks more premium with dual-outlet exhaust, upfront adjustable wide shield, and 5 level front brake lever adjustments. This adventure bike will definitely be a great competitor to KTM’s 390 Adventure.
The displacement of the bike is 399cc, liquid-cooled, and comes with a twin-cylinder engine that generates a maximum output power of 46 PS at 9,000 rpm and 38 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated with a six-speed transmission gearbox.
For better illumination, Honda equipped LED headlamp with LED DRLs and for fast downshifting gears included assist slipper clutch. Fully digital instrument console displays every option required to a rider like gear position, speedometer, fuel gauge, etc. And 150mm decent ground clearance.
The ex-showroom price of 2020 Honda CB400X is not revealed, could have to wait for few days for the official price announcement. Currently, Honda was not planning to launch this in the Indian market but hopefully, we can expect CB500X. Do check Honda CB150R Streester
