Last week the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki has launched BS6 Ninja 650 in India. And today revealed the midweight naked streetfighter BS6 compliant Z650 in Indian market priced at 5.94 lakh rupees. And official bookings will be open next month. In this 2020 BSVI, Z650 Kawasaki has done only minor changes when compared to its outgoing model.
The price difference of BS4 Z650 and BS6 Z650 is ₹ 25,000. Disappointed thing Kawasaki did not include the traction controls, while the same segment other brands motorcycles have traction controls like cornering ABS. This BS6 variant get new redesigned sharp twin headlights at upfront.
The displacement of the bike is 649cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, and parallel-twin engine exhibits a maximum output power of 68 HP at 8,000 rpm, 64 Nm of peak torque at 6,700 rpm. Kawasaki compromised with 41 mm telescopic forks in the front suspension and mono-shock unit at the rear. The 4.3 inches fully digital TFT instrument console displays every required option and the rider can connect his smartphone through the Rideology app.
To control this naked streetfighter Kawasaki equipped 300 mm dual front disc and single disc 220 mm at the rear. And to increase more breaking power dual-channel ABS also attached. To decrease the weight of bike Kawasaki equipped Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
