Yamaha introduced its first three-wheeled motorcycle back in 2014 but not successful on market. Later revealed on mid-segment bikes that “Yamaha Niken”. Yamaha launched it’s new 2020 three-wheeled scooter Tricity 155 in Japan. Yamaha bike engines are always good because even lower segments produce more power and torque.
The 2020 Yamaha Tricity is the same familiar to its preceding model, no major changes are done but only new color schemes are available. The price detail of Yamaha Tricity in Japan is 4,84,000 Yen* ( INR 3.44 lakh ) and sale available in the market from the second week of May 2020. This motorcycle is light-weight so, good for new riders. 2020 Tricity 155 scooter has some premium features like LED headlamp, fully digital instrument console.
The large rear tire size 130/70 which increases more traction control of scooter in lean angles. And suspension on duties on front telescopic forks and at a rear unit swing. The engine is liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 155 cc displacement that generates a maximum power of 15 PS at 8,000 rpm, and 14 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm.
In the 155 cc segment, R15 V3 has a huge craze in the Indian market so, Yamaha will not launch this scooter in India. And dual-channel ABS system is equipped along with UBS ( Unified braking system ) for more efficient braking. Three color schemes available Blueish Gray, White Metallic, and Matt Gray.
