Recently Ducati launched its brand new naked motorcycle Monster and which was completely against to Kawasaki Z900. Basically, these both naked bikes got the same displacement engine but the Ducati Monster comes with a premium price tag. Here we do compare a couple of major things of 2021 Monster and Z900.
Design Language: Well, the Kawasaki continues its identify Z series design Sugomi and the Z900 looks much aggressive than the Ducati Monster. Ducati introduced this 2021 Monster with a new design that was not up to the mark (not reached the motorcyclist expectations). Thanks to the Ducati team By doing some changes they reduced 4 kg kerb weight for the new generation Monster which usually improves aerodynamics. From side profile of Monster is looking more good with dual exhaust mufflers. To know about Z900 click here.
Engine & Performances: Those who love the inline four-cylinder exhaust sound should go with Z900. It equipped with a 948 cc, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that exhibits topmost power of 125 HP at 9,500 rpm and 95 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm. And on the other side with a two-cylinder engine, Ducati Monster will produce almost the similar power figures of Z900. As Monster got only 2 cylinders but performance-wise Ducati calibrated all necessary things in an engine to boost power. It comes with a 937 cc, V-twin engine that pumps out max power of 120 HP at 9,250 rpm and 90 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
Price: As both motorcycles get the same tech features with different looks and built quality. The Monster is currently debuted for international market only and expected price in India if it launched, around 10 lakh. Actually, this Italian manufacturer seems overpriced to this bike. The BS6 Kawasaki Z900 comes with raw performances and with a very reasonable ex-showroom price tag of 8 lakh. Before getting a motorcycle people usually check their nearby service centers. Well, comparing these two brands, Kawasaki has more service centers than Ducati in our country.
