The British motorcycle manufacturing Norton facing a lot of problems in recent times. Due to some conditions, the brand was permitted for the international market with a limited number of service centers and it wasn’t getting popular. Moreover, the company had a huge financial problem so, the production of a new motorcycle was breakdown.
But finally, one of the major leading two-wheeler brand TVS in India has been invested in Norton company and restarting production of new motorcycles. Last year Norton introduced a mid-weight 650cc bike Superlight which weighs 158 kg. And produces with parallel-twin engine 105 HP and 75 Nm of peak torque. Present Norton planning to turn that motorcycle into a supercharged machine.
So the upcoming 2021 midweight supercharged bike will be called Superlight SS. The things were very clear about this bike because last week they have submitted officially Superlight SS patent applications. Norton replacing with all carbon body components to reduce the bike weight because that usually improves power-weight ratios.
This 2021 Norton Superlight SS is a supercharged machine. So its engine should get heated quickly to cool that automatically Norton includes an intercooler. Buzz is the upcoming Superlight SS from Norton in collaboration with TVS this supercharged motorcycle will able to achieve topmost power of 175 HP and weighs only 153 kg.
