In this new academic year Yamaha planing a new variant motorcycle. Recently Yamaha registered ‘FZ-X’ trademark name so we can expect an Adventure model. The good thing is actually this 250cc Adventure is developing especially for our India market. To be a good competitor in all parameters Yamaha will reveal FZ-X 250 Adv at an affordable price and it might be lesser than KTM 250 Adv.
Basically for the South American market, Yamaha already uncovered adventure motorcycles in the 250CC segment. But this 2021 FZ-X 250 Adv might get new ergonomics that are suitable for both off-road and city roads. Present all things were now at a very initial stage so we should have to wait a few weeks because there could be leaks. The leaks of upcoming bikes happen naturally to create hype as well for publicity.
As this Adventure model coming in the FZ series so probably Yamaha will borrow engine from FZ-25 and do some required tweaks. The tech features like Bluetooth connectivity and switchable ABS will be included. The expected power figures of FZ-X ADV are 20.6 HP and 20 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated with a five-speed gearbox.
