One of the most successful machines in the quarter-liter segment i.e Yamaha R3. We know that Yamaha has discounted this R3 bike in India because it was currently not suitable for perfect standard emissions norms. This much-awaited motorcycle was revealed finally in the US market. But the thing is Yamaha only unveiled the 2021 MotoGP Special Edition of R3 in the international market.
This special edition sports bike was priced at $5599 (INR 4.11 lakh). Actually most of the two-wheeler companies introducing the new generation motorcycles with outdated design and graphics. The appreciate thing is Yamaha has updated some major things in 2021 R3 when compared to the outgoing model. The new generation R3 gets a fully digital instrument console, LED headlight, and taillight.
This 2021 MotoGP Edition YZF-R3 gets 321 cc parallel-twin and its livery was inspired by YZR-M1. And the Monster Energy logo was placed on side body panels, few cosmetic changes have done on this special edition to grab more attention towards the bike. Basically it was the best sports looking motorcycle, so to improve stability in cornering it got USD forks in the front suspension. And Dual-channel ABS for more braking efficiency, as well it was a good safety feature.
One thing we should know that the international variant specs will not remain as same when coming to the Indian market. Recently Yamaha also released a couple of images of the 2021 YZF-R3 with the new Electric Teal color scheme. And to be frank, in this color the bike looks so wired.
