Yamaha has a well popular and successful mid weighted adventure motorcycle that’s Tenere 700. Currently, it was available in the international market and recently 2020 Rally version was unveiled. One reporter has interviewed the Yamaha’s product communications manager at Italy and asked a few questions regarding further bike’s.
And interestingly he reveals about low variant adventure Tenere 300. Actually KTM and BMW have got a good number of sale units in Asian markets for 390 Adventure as well for 310 GS. Currently most of them step-forward to purchase quarter-liter segment bikes which is good for daily commuters as well as for touring purpose.
Now Yamaha promises that they wish to manufacture Tenere 300 if people are interested in it. And if Yamaha starts the production variant of Tenere 300 then it’ll be equipped with an MT-03 engine. For reference MT-03 parallel twin-cylinder engine capable of churns out maximum output power of 42 HP and 29 Nm of peak torque.
Well Coming to design language, body panels for Tenere 300 Adv could be inspired by elder brother Tenere 700. But the big question is whether this small segment adventure bike will launch in the Indian market or not. Because still there is no official confirmation regarding the launch for XSR155 in the Indian market.
