These days people are showing interest in aftermarket accessories to change their motorcycles according to his/her expectations. So some companies also offering at official service centers with optional different custom color skins & extra body attachments to motorcycles. Well, now Yamaha collaborates with Bottpower and introducing an expensive aftermarket full body kit to MT-09 as well for XSR900.
Actually, the body kit was made with carbon so it usually costs more. The thing is basic price was 4975 Euros (INR 4.47 lakh). Also pro kit was available which has every mod it priced at 7,135 Euros (INR 6.40 lakh) without any external taxes. The front profile of bike has a flat plate included with two LED DRL lights. Good thing is they attached wings to a radiator that helps to improve aerodynamics. The fuel tank is covered with carbon fiber also has two extra forward-facing pipes that pass the fresh air direct to an airbox area.
Basically, the standard stock variant has a pillion seat but in this kit only a single Alcantara seat is available. After the complete assembling of all aftermarket parts instead of calling its original name, Yamaha & Bottpower was given an alternative name ‘XR9’. To be honest this custom bike resemblance MV Agusta Rush 1000.
