Actually in India Aprilia bikes has low space in the market. And they do create some hype at the beginning of this year for RS 150 and Tuno 150.
But unlikely these two variant bikes are not going to be unveiled in our country anymore. Aprilia focusing on the 300-400 cc subcategory motorcycle because currently most of them are looking for a good bike with a powerful engine at the quarter-liter segment. Aprilia confirms that it’s the initial stage in developing 300-400 cc engine bikes.
And probably we could be seen in them in India after two years i.e mid-2023. Also, Piaggio working on both fully faired (RS) and naked bikes (Tuno). No confirmation regarding engine specifications. But we do expect these 300-400 cc bikes could be more affordable in the price category. And to reduce the cost of bikes, wishing to manufacture these upcoming motorcycles in our country.
So, Aprilia compromise with a single-cylinder engine and overall design DNA could be shared from the liter-class segment bikes. These future bikes are revealed against KTM RC 390, Apache 310 RR.
