Finally, the Aprilia launch new BS6 scooter’s in India. The two scooters are available in BS6 version one is SXR160 cc and another one 125 cc. These scooters are giving high competition for Honda Activa as well as for Yamaha Fascino and Dio too. Aprilia is coming with some premium features in this BS6 version scooter. Coming to the specifications it’s single-cylinder 3-valves fuel injector 165 cc which produces 11.01PS and 11.06Nm torque. The 125 cc is single-cylinder with 9.6bhp and 9.8Nm torque. Both scooters are not coming with the ABS system. The only 160cc is with ABS ( Anti locking system ) and 125 cc is with CBS ( combined braking system ).
And 12-inch rim with 5 spoke alloys wheels. The TFT screen is big in these scooters well compared to other scooters. TFT display screen is 210 cm and shows in display mileage indicator. The front LED headlight and taillight of scooters are completely different when compared to other scooters like Honda Activa or Yamaha Fascino and handlebars also different. Aprilia also provided a USB charger connector option so it can easily charge the mobile phone while traveling. The fuel economy of the scooter was not officially revealed. But the fule capacity is 8-10 liters. Four color options are available in Aprilia SXR160 and 125 i.e red, blue, black and white. Aprilia says booking is open on August 2020. Delivery after 20days of booking expected. The price of the Aprilia SXR160 cc is Rs 1,03,269 and 125 cc is ₹90,000.
