If you like to enjoy the power and feel its real torque then you might probably have to look for a mid-weighted supersport bike. By the way, riding sub700CC segment should have minimum riding skills and capabilities to control speed because their top-speed is equal to liter-class superbikes.
Well, we do know that present in two-wheeler market under 700cc new two hot supersport motorcycles are entered. One is Japanese manufacturer Yamaha R7 and another one with futuristic looks Aprilia RS 660.
Engine & Performance
Well, both motorcycle comes with a twin-parallel engine with different power delivery. Actually, most of us excepted an inline four-cylinder in R7 but unfortunately, Yamaha disappointed everyone & equipped MT-07’s engine.
Even though power figures were not compromising to us but expects says that R7 can surpass up to 240+ km/h on track. You can get a quick clear thought about power delivery through their twin-cylinder by checking down the infographic image.
Design & Hardware
Both R7 & RS660 got new systematic updates in body layout. The Aprilia RS660 looks more stunning & more aggressive from the front profile because of the front twin LED lights. Yamaha implemented updated body panels in the 2021 R7 that eventually improved the aerodynamics of the bike and benefits now the hot air from the engine is diverted away from rider legs.
Surely no doubt the winner could be Italian beauty RS660 in design language. In this Italian manufacturer, RS660 has high-end Brembo brakes for more braking efficiency. So, in terms of braking system Aprilia is much better & more powerful than the 2021 R7.
Safety Feature & Price
Even though the price of Aprilia RS660 is a bit expensive than R7 but only drawback thing is it has limited the sales. In RS660, Aprilia includes more traction control for a better riding experience. When to come to R7 the price looks affordable with limited features.
