We have seen turbocharged superbikes in Kawasaki H2 and H2R. The specialty of turbocharged engines generates more instant power. The two top automotive companies Aston Martin and Brough Superior joined and unveiled one of world expensive motorcycle AMB 001 at EICMA 2019 Milan.
These two companies manufacturing this different concept premium motorcycle-only 100 pieces, limited version. And starts delivering AMB 001 by end of this year 2020. This bike was inspired by Aston Martin cars and it is first-ever motorcycle producing.
The AMB 001 is powered by DHOC 997cc, V2 engine with turbocharged was built by Brough Superior. This turbocharged engine exhibits maximum power of 180 horsepower and it engine mated with six-speed transmission gearbox an APTC clutch. The AMB 001 generates low RPM, around 3,000 RPM but speed was insane and very fast. The price of Aston Martin AMB 001 is 1,08,000 Euros ( INR 85 lakh including all taxes ). But this is legal on track version only, on-roads it’s illegal.
It is a super lightweight motorcycle, the weight of the bike is just 180 kg. Only rider seat, no pillion seat available and a luxury leather seat were borrowed from supercars interior. The intercooler coolant prevents overheat from the turbocharged engine. Body parts of AMB 001 were fully carbon fiber and on the front two wings were placed for good aerodynamic.
