We have seen these two bikes last year at EICMA. Now BMW likely to launch officially its brand new bikes in the Indian market. BMW revealing naked version F 900 R, for touring and adventure F 900 XR in India 21st March. The naked streetfighter F 900 R could be against Yamaha MT-09 and Kawasaki Z900.
The adventure F 900 XR will be against Kawasaki Versys 1000. Well, these two BMW’s brand new bikes are coming with the same parallel engine, and only the suspension duties, the weight of the bike, and seat height will different rest of features are the same. But prices will be different, naked F 900 R is around 9.90 lakh rupees and sports touring standard version F 900 XR will be at 10.5 lakh rupees.
Both bikes are powered by 895cc, parallel-twin engine that generates a maximum output power of 103 PS and 92 Nm peak torque. BMW included two riding modes Rain, Road, Dynamic and Dynamic Pro. And a big 6.5-inch TFT fully digital instrument console which also able to connect your smart mobile.
The F 900 XR gets a couple of additional features like key-less ignition, emergency call alert, and adaptive cornering light. The BMW F 900 R gets upfront V-shaped LED headlamp and F 900 XR gets twin LED headlamp.
