BMW Launched Long-Awaited 2021 Superbike S 1000 R

I think in last month BMW introduced its M series motorcycles and today the long waited naked superbike S 1000 R was launched in the international market. Mostly the companies do innovative new designs for their latest generation models. But this time BMW took different body elements from their already existing bikes to equip in 2021 S 1000 R.

Basically, this naked superbike gets a fully faired’s “RR” engine. New version BMW S 1000 R powered by 999cc, inline four-cylinder engine that capable of pumps out topmost power of 165 HP at 11,000 rpm and peak torque of 115 Nm at 9,250 rpm. And the headlight was very similar to G 310 R, hardware components and few tech features were borrowed from F900R and S1000RR.

The looks of this new generation flagship naked superbike don’t look aggressively when compared to the outgoing version. Thanks to BMW for making more lightweight motorcycle and actually now it weighs 5 kg lesser. BMW includes all required tech and electronic features in this superbike. But the disappointing thing is shift cam technology is missing.

If it was included then the power delivery through the engine will be more the standard variant. Well, present in Indian market the demand slightly increasing for above-midweight motorcycles. So probably there are higher chances to see the 2021 generation S 1000 R model in our country by next year. And the price could be around 12.6 lakh
