Most automotive companies are focusing on innovative environmental-friendly vehicles. And there are high chances to see new electric vehicles in the upcoming weeks. For Damon electric two-wheeler bikes got a huge response when they introduced their first superfast EV motorcycle. In last week Damon launched two new motorcycles for the international market, the price tag was very aggressive and equal to liter-segment superbikes.
Basically the 2021 Hypersport SX and SE models capable to achieve above 200 km/h top speed. And should have to appreciate the engineers of Damon because it’s not an easy thing to make a powerful electric bike. The base version of Hypersport SE gets an 11kWh battery and the company claims that it gets mileage around 160 km per one time full charge. For both Hypersport electric bikes, Damon provides a 6.6 kW charger. The interesting thing is these bikes support DC 25 kW fast charging, so can easily power-up in a span of 45 minutes.
The power delivery was very decent the base model able to achieve topmost power of 100 HP. The higher variant 2021 Hypersport SX is equipped with a 15kWh battery and as it got a more capacity battery, so able to exhibit max power of 150 HP. The range for one-time change is 240 km. The pre-bookings were already begun, the Hypersport SE priced at $16995 (INR 12.57 lakh) and the top-variant SX costs $19995 ( INR 14.8 lakh).
