The two-wheeler company Benelli usually apply different strategies to impress consumers. If every two-wheeler brand releasing motorcycles with single-cylinder at under sub-500cc segment then Benelli additional add one extra cylinder to grab attention towards their motorcycles. And already in the 500cc category, it has a flagship motorcycle Leoncino 500.
But today finally Benelli unveiled something big in the midweight segment against Triumph Trident and XSR 700. To be a great competitor to other motorcycles in its class Benelli introducing 2021 two variants Leoncino 800 and Leoncino 800 Trail. Basically, the standard variant is perfect for on-road, and the second is designed for off-road purposes. Well, both bikes get the same capacity engine which delivers good enough power figures. The only difference among these two naked bikes is seat height, rear suspension, tyres, and exhaust system.
The 2021 Leoncino 800 gets a 754cc parallel-twin cylinder that can pumps out topmost power of 76 HP at 9,000 rpm and 68 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated with a six-speed transmission gearbox along with the slipper clutch. To able to control the power of this bike need a good braking system, so Benelli includes Brembo brakes. Well, Benelli hasn’t given clues regarding price details. And, however, we can expect anyone bike into the Indian market in early 2021.
