Good to hear from Honda that they planning a new mid-weighted 500 cc bikes launch in the Indian market but unlikely seen this year. We can expect Honda 500 cc twin-cylinder engine bikes at the beginning of 2021. This could be great news for Honda cult fans because most of them tired of seeing the new Activa Scooter.
Honda fills different categories in 500 cc segments like Fully-Faired Sports variant, Adventure, and a Naked version. Previously we have informed about the CB500R ABS sports bike if you miss please check by clicking here. Now we do know about street fighter naked variant CB500F.
The good thing is these naked bikes are easily manageable and even can pass through traffic with effortless. The 2021 Honda CB500F has good enough decent power figures. Actually this BS6 473 cc, liquid-cooled engine, parallel twin-cylinder that capable of churn out maximum output power of 47 HP at 8,600 rpm and 43 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
But it won’t get USD forks instead of that conventional telescopic forks are equipped. Especially USD forks are good for cornering but in my opinion on Indian roads telescopic forks are best. Coming to price details the 2021 Honda naked bike CB500F will cost less than CBR650R. So the expected ex-showroom of CB500F is around INR 4.25 lakh.
