The first generation of Honda CBR500R was launched back in 2013. And 2021 new version CBR500R ABS is gonna expected to launch in India this year with the price tag of 5.50 lakh rupees. Well, Honda updated with a new digital LCD dashboard. The features are fully high-tech and the design of looks was aggressive.
This mid-weight motorcycle is powered by 471 cc with parallel-twin, the liquid-cooled engine produces a maximum power of 47 horsepower at 8,600 rpm and 43 Nm peak torque at 6,500 rpm. And engine mated with a six-speed transmission gearbox. The acceleration performance of a bike is 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds. The fuel economy of the bike is 29 km/l and the fuel tank capacity is 17 liters.
The braking efficiency will be great in CBR500R because of a bigger 320 mm single disc with the 2-piston caliper on front and 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper. Also equipped with a dual-channel ABS braking system. There is a safety emergency braking system in the 2019 model. When you pull the breaks suddenly the indicators will blink automatically hope we can see in India version.
Honda CBR500R doesn’t look like a sports bike but like touring. Three color schemes available Grand Prix Red, Pearl Metalloid, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic Well compared to the upcoming Honda CBR 250RR, the power & top speed figures were close to CBR500RR.
