After the entire hype today officially Honda has launched Hornet 2.0 in the Indian market at the price Rs. 1,26,345 (Ex-showroom). Honda has replaced this 2.0 version in place of Hornet 160R and few similar design language was taken from CB190F which was available at the international market.
The things in this brand new motorcycle are very interesting. From Honda this 2020 Hornet 2.0 is the first bike in 180 cc category. Actually most of us excepted a new 200 cc segment bike but Honda slightly disappointed. The good thing is the bookings are open and can book directly through the Honda two-wheeler website by depositing Rs. 1,999.
Honda promise they will deliver the product in the first week of September 2020. Coming to specifications Hornet 2.0 BS6 gets 184.4 cc, air-cooled engine, single-cylinder that churns out maximum output power of 17 HP at 9,500 rpm, and 16.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. Actually the power figures are decent for commuters and for better fuel economy Honda included a fuel-injected system in this bike.
The special things on a bike are golden color USD forks equipped in the front suspension and at the rear mono-shock unit. Also, Honda updated with a new LCD digital instrument cluster that displays speedometer, gear indicator, and many more things. To the customers beneficiary, Honda offers 3 years service warranty along with an additional 3 extended warranty in a total package.
