In the 500cc segment, Honda has a naked bike CB500F, the 500R sportbike, for adventure touring CB500X. Honda revealed different modes in 500cc and now for cruiser fans introduced Rebel 500. This premium 2020 cruiser motorcycle Rebel 500 was revealed in EICMA 2019 and this bike updated version of Rebel 300.
Honda has already launched this cruiser bike in the international market and the good thing is likely to launch Rebel 500 in India by this year and it’ll be the first cruiser bike from Honda. Due to certain conditions, the launching dates are postponing. The expected ex-showroom price of 2020 Rebel 500 at 5 lakh.
Honda Rebel 500 cruiser comes with a parallel-twin engine and is powered by 477 cc that generates a maximum output power of 45.5 PS at 8,500 rpm, 44.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The looks this bike was very stylish with an upfront round LED headlamp. Also, a round digital instrument console displays the gear position, speedometer, ABS light, and fuel gauge.
Honda provides a lot of custom seat accessories and other for this cruiser bike. The seat height was very low 690 mm, so probably not suits for a tall rider who are above 6 feet. Hardware duties on front 41 mm conventional telescopic forks and Showa shock absorbers with a pro-link system at the rear.
