Kawasaki creates history in manufacturing new machines. As we saw earlier few supercharged motorcycles from Kawasaki. And now according to a couple of sketch design images application forms from Japan Patent office. By seeing those design images we can notice that the Kawasaki is planning to manufacture a supercharged engine with a two-stroke four-cylinder direct-injection engine.
This idea was really good for making this kind of supercharged two-stroke engines in this 21st century using some technology cues from other heavy machines. The two-stroke engine bikes generate more power and have a good fan base in the ’90s.
According to government standard norms for environment-friendly, the two-stroke engines got banned. No mechanical information regarding Kawasaki’s upcoming supercharged two-stroke but we can figure out some details from design images. Inplace of ports Kawasaki replaced with poppet valves and double overhead camshafts
The Kawasaki has to taken supercharged two-stroke engineering technology from heavy machines. And unlikely to see this kind engine in motorcycle from Kawasaki but in watercraft, buggies, trikes.
