From KTM we do expect to launch new Adventure in midweight segment bike in Indian market i.e 790 Adventure. Last year in India KTM has showcased this adventure bike at IBW Goa to know reactions from people. Actually there are two varieties in this adventure model Stranded and the R variant. But, unfortunately, KTM showcased only the Standard model in India Bike Week 2019 at Goa.
We were likely to see KTM 790 Adventure this Christmas or early 2021. According to recent source KTM likely to manufacture 790 adventures in the Philippines instead of Austrian. Definitely KTM will place streetfighter Duke 790 engine in this Adventure model. We can expect a new BS6 engine and similar power figures of 790 Duke.
The displacement of 790 Adventure is 788 cc, two-cylinders, DOHC, parallel-twin engine that exhibits a maximum output power of 94 HP at 8,000 rpm and 88 Nm of peak torque at 6,600 rpm. The KTM Adventure 790 expected ex-showroom price is around INR 10 lakh. Also, a big 21 liters fuel tank capacity and 43 mm WP Apex fork at the front suspension.
KTM equipped upfront LED headlight, spoked wheels with aluminum rims, fully advanced modern digital instrument console, and included different traction controls. Also, the good news is that KTM confirms the most awaited upcoming parallel-twin 490 cc segments bikes will be launch in 2022.
