The Japanese manufacturing two-wheeler companies are introducing brand new motorcycles in the Indian market. Well, Suzuki as part of Japanese manufacture likely to unveil some new kind of bike in the quarter-liter segment. We do know that Intruder 150 and now few patented images of upgraded cruiser 250 cc Intruder were leaked in online.
We can notice that the quarter-liter cruiser looks, design language could be different when compared to Intruder 150. The exhaust system images were also revealed and now it looks more simple. To require BS6 standard emissions norms the dual barrel exhaust is equipped with a new internal muffler.
Actually Suzuki planned to showcase this cruiser at previous Auto Moto Show but due to pandemic time currently focusing to launch their BS6 variant bike. Hopefully, we do expect Suzuki will launch Intruder 250 in the first-quarter time of 2021. Basically cruiser bikes are very good for touring purposes and also more comfortable to ride without back pain issues.
Suzuki will share the same 250 Gixxer engine in this upcoming Intruder 250. For reference Gixxer 250 gets 249 cc, single-cylinder that capable of crankshaft maximum output power of 26.5 HP at 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,300 rpm. Suzuki engineering will do some tweaks in power figures to generate more torque for this cruiser bike. The expected ex-showroom price could be around INR 1.5 lakh.
