It was good to see an Indian two-wheeler brand TVS has introduced an upgraded machine into the market. Actually, most of us thought the new Apache 310 RR will be revealed, and it was not. Basically, nowadays most other brands just adding new skins and reveling without any proper hardware updates, also additionally hiking the prices.
Well, thanks to TVS for including different riding modes in its 200 cc segment special edition Apache 200 4V. But I feel personal that TVS should have brought this special edition with 6th gear and the preceding front headlight looks better. This 2020 TVS Special Edition Apache 200 4V BS6 has got more than required premium mechanical updates.
It got a 197cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out topmost power of 20.5 HP at 9,000 rpm and 17.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm. The engine specs remain the same and coming to hardware duties in front SHOWA race-tuned suspension with preload adjustment. And according to rider comfort, he/she can adjustable in 3-step for both clutch and brake levers.
Well, this special edition gets three riding modes and the bike can achieve 105 km/h top-speed in Rain and Urban mode. Also able go up to 127 km/h in the sport mode. The price of the 2020 Apache 200 4V is just one thousand rupees more than the outgoing model i.e Rs. 1.31 lakh. In India, no other bike was getting such kind of top specifications in the 200cc segment at a very reasonable price.
