The unknown Husqvarna brand name was heard by most of them in India at IBW 2019 after introducing there first brand new motorcycles of Vitpilen and Svartpilen 250. And then later officially started sales in Indian market 2020 February with tie-up KTM. The interesting thing is Husqvarna likely to reveal another smaller segment bike Svartpilen 200 in India at affordable prices.
Actually, at this time this bike should have to be revealed but due to some external problems delayed. And can be expected to unveil this bike in the Indian market by October 2020. As per sources the price could slightly higher than Duke 200 which means it will be around INR 1.60 lakh (Ex-showroom).
These Husqvarna brand motorcycles look very premium with ultra-stylish design. Husqvarna shares KTM’s Duke 200 BS6 engine in its upcoming 200 cc motorcycle. So mechanically the power figures could be the same as what we have seen in Duke 200. Coming to hardware components and other body panels Husqvarna will share from their elder siblings.
The BS6 Svartpilen 200 is equipped with a single-cylinder engine, that capable to churn out maximum output power of 26 HP and 18.5 Nm of peak torque. As per Indian standard norms, the upcoming every vehicle should be equipped with ABS. So expected to get dual-channel ABS in 2020 Svartpilen 200.
