Yamaha has popular naked bikes in MT series. And a couple of MT series motorcycles were launched in the Indian market. Well, most of them don’t know the powerful naked machine in the quarter-liter segment from Yamaha. Actually the Yamaha MT-25 engine generates more power than KTM Duke 250 BS6 and Z250.
When coming specifications of Yamaha MT-25 is always top in its class. But the sad thing is Yamaha revealed MT-25 for a few specific countries only. Previously got rumors that it’ll be launch in Indian but the fact is now Yamaha more focusing to bring new YZF-R3 in India with a fresh look to catch the market.
Well knowing about the design of MT-25, the front part of the bike which resembles FZ. And the muscular finishing look on the fuel tank, all body elements were completely filled with a premium look. This aggressive-looking quarter liter naked bike gets a 249 cc, twin-cylinder engine that capable of churning out maximum output power of 36 HP at 12,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm.
It has decent 14 liters fuel tank probably that can get about 500 km and i.e 35 km/l. The MT-25 is every comfortable to ride because it doesn’t weigh much and also the seat height was low. Coming to safety factors in breaking well this bike is equipped with a 298 mm single disc on the front, at the rear wheel 220 mm disc along with Dual-channel ABS system.
The expected price of Yamaha MT-25 is INR 2.50 lakh price in India. Rumors suggest that future MT-25 gets EUC, VVA technology for a better performance engine to get a good fuel economy and this type of technology was seen in R15 V3. Do check fully-faired Yamaha R25.
