Yamaha MT 3-cylinder Turbocharged bike Project Confirmed

The upcoming motorcycles are getting ready to create a new trend in the market. Because the two-wheeler manufacturers are developing new turbo changed engine bike with advanced technology at the mid weighted segment. Recently from Yamaha, a new patent file of triple cylinder turbo engine bike images was out.

While Yamaha explaining regarding this advanced bike at one conference unfortunately one prototype image was leaked. This new turbo engine will be equipped in a high-end MT-09 motorcycle. The prototype gets 847cc 3-cylinder will be to achieve nearly 180 bhp. And good is Yamaha engineers working on this is a turbo engine to meet upcoming Euro6 emission norms. As this project was confirmed so, we can expect the production model somewhere in 2021.

Normally bore and stoke of MT-09 was 78mm and 59.1 mm but after doing rearranges in an engine to add turbo then the bore and stroke will be slightly higher than normal. In this turbocharged engine bike, the fuel injection system will be directly going to the combustion chamber and that will create some impact to generate more power. The upcoming turbocharged engine bike will get the same body elements and chassis of MT-10. As per reports, the new prototype appeared that weighs 20 kg more than MT-10.
