Presently all we know in the Indian two-wheeler market Japanese manufacturer Yamaha is in the top position. Yamaha has premium low-end motorcycles with a lot of advanced technology specs especially the new gen R15 & MT-15 sales were increasing like a rocket. In the international market, Yamaha revealed its 2023 brand-new 250cc YZF-R25 with a color update.
However the new colour option Phantom purple with pink we have seen earlier in R3. As this 2023 sportsbike R25 gets the same mechanical specs as the outgoing model, only a few cosmetic changes were appearing.
Unluckily this model was not available in the Indian market, if Yamaha does then it’ll be a game changer in the quarter-liter segment. The Yamaha YZF-R25 comes with a parallel twin-cylinder 249cc liquid-cooled engine that can pump out 36 HP at 12,000rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm.
As this engine is mated with a six-speed transmission and the price of 2023 YZF-R25 is 6,90,800 (Rs 4.37 lakh). It has excellent aerodynamics that eventually can increase the overall performance of motorcycle and the top speed of YZF-R25 is 173 km/h. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 2023 R25 can achieve 35 km/l.
